In this room, the supplied wood is being transformed to fully reveal its natural beauty. Some wooden boards are even 9 m long. Quality and environmental standards are high priorities, so all of our suppliers are FSC certified. You will find many well-known and familiar wood types, like oak, cherry, beech, ash, and exotic ones - jatoba, kosipo or amazaque.
At this stage, the boards are being cut in accordance with their intended purpose. Some of them are used to make substantial profiles and fine veneer - all in accordance with the approved design. As one of the few in Poland, our Studio provides services in a precision mechanical machining, which allows you to get the perfect veneer - even 1 mm thick and 6 m long.
Now, the individual components are being connected in accordance with our design and begin to take their final shapes. It’s all done layer by layer, and after that, thanks to special clamps, they wait for adhesive to bond. A significant feature of our adhesives lies in the absence, or low or very low levels, of harmful substances.
After bonding, the elements of the stairs have their appropriate shapes - but they still require cutting operations. To that purpose, they go back to the second section, where they undergo treatment or processing.
Items are already trimmed, so the grinding prepares them for painting. We do not grind manually. Sometimes it is better to use traditional methods of joinery, but for extremely precise work there’s nothing better than the precise grinder, when the thickness reaches even 0.1 mm. The work is carried out with surgical precision and that allows to complement all of the individual components perfectly.
Next, the components are being covered with special paint, or we can also use environmentally friendly waxes and oils. As in the case of adhesives, all varnishes used in the Studio meet environmental standards.
