ACAJOU

Origin: West Coast of Africa. Properties: pale pink, darkening to gilt. Easy to handle smooth after polishing. Application: boatbuilding, joinery, artistic furniture, plywood, veneers, floors, stairs. Hard wood.

AMAZAQUE

(Guiburtia ehie) Origin: West Coast of Africa. Properties: brownish-olive with dark-brown veins, very noble, decorative veneer from chestnut. Easy to handle, weather – resistant. Application: artistic furniture, doors, stairs, floors. Very hard wood.

AMERICAL WALNUT

The tree occurs in the Western, Central and Northeastern United States and Canada. Attractive colored heartwood combined with ease of processing makes it suitable for furniture, interior finishing, as well as for high quality craftsmanship articles of art and wood-crafted items. Hard wood.

ASH

It’s heavy, durable and flexible. Freshly cut tree can be easily formed/bent. The wood is appreciated owing to its flexibility and abrasion resistance and it’s only slightly less harder than beech. It’s durable in dry conditions and it can be easily destroyed when it’s wet. It’s available in a wide variety of colors, from grey-brown to white and white-pink shades and underlined structure. It’s qualified to be used in furniture making, claddings and parquet flooring; construction timber with average requirements especially for interior design; it’s special for sports equipment, levels, columns, rails, barrels; an ideal construction material for boats, equipment, vehicles, wagons and airplanes; suitable for turning operations and woodcarving. This species can be found in most parts of Europe and Western Asia.

BEECH

It is one of the most valuable deciduous trees and one of the most important species used by the manufacturers nowadays. Beech wood is medium - heavy, quite hard (comparable to oak, hornbeam or rosewood), extra strong and cleanable. It is also easy to handle. Among the physical properties, wood density is also very important. It is related to its porosity, and to such properties as hardness, strength, abrasion resistance and durability. Beech wood is light and it is distinguished by its typical pinkish tinge. The species is found in Europe and West Asia.

BODO

Bodo - (African walnut, mambode, boire). This type from West and Central Africa has a copper color with dark veins. The wood is quite heavy, it has a copper, brown or red color (in different shades). Great material for furniture manufacturing and joinery.

CHERRY

This noble tree that belongs to rose family can be found in Europe and Asia Minor. The tree reaches a height of 30 meters. The bark is reddish-brown, slightly shiny. The leaves are from opposite, twisting along the stem, to oblong, oval leaves with slender tip. The tree has a regular cone-shaped crown. Younger trees have a slender crown, while the older ones have the columnar crown.

DOUSIE

Exotic wood from Africa. High mechanical properties and dimensional stability as well as an interesting orange-brown color makes it one of the most popular flooring material. It can be found in West and Central Africa.
